Summary
Streemfire recognizes that your privacy is very important and that it is your right to control your personal information. We understand that providing personal information is an act of trust and we take that trust seriously.

Streemfire is a brand owned by SF Media GmbH, which is an Austrian company working under European and Austrian privacy jurisdiction.

We do not ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. We do not share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law or protect our rights. We do not store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our Services. Before your Content is passed on to third parties, you must agree to it.

Coverage
This Privacy Policy covers the collection, use and disclosure of personal information that may be collected any time you interact with Streemfire, such as when you visit the Streemfire website, use or purchase our products and services, or communicate with Streemfire employees.

Information about rights of users and data subjects
Regarding the data processing to be described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the rights:

  • to confirm whether data concerning them is being processed, information about the data being processed, further information about the nature of the data processing, and copies of the data (cf. also Art. 15 GDPR);to correct or complete incorrect or incomplete data (cf. also Art. 16 GDPR);

  • to the immediate deletion of data concerning them (cf. also Art. 17 DSGVO), or, alternatively, if further processing is necessary as stipulated in Art. 17 Para. 3 GDPR, to restrict said processing per Art. 18 GDPR;

  • to receive copies of the data concerning them and/or provided by them and to have the same transmitted to other providers/controllers (cf. also Art. 20 GDPR); and

  • to file complaints with the supervisory authority if they believe that data concerning them is being processed by the controller in breach of data protection provisions (see also Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the controller is obliged to inform all recipients to whom it discloses data of any such corrections, deletions, or restrictions placed on processing the same per Art. 16, 17 Para. 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Nevertheless, users have a right to information about these recipients. Likewise, under Art. 21 GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to the controller’s future processing of their data pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. An objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permissible.

Information About Data Collection and Processing

Cookies and Tracking Pixels. Cookies are small data files that a website you visit may save on your hard drive that usually includes an anonymous unique identifier. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from your hard drive, pass on computer viruses, or capture your email address. The Streemfire website uses cookies for user authentication, keeping track of your preferences, promotional campaigns that require user identification, keeping track of our audience size and traffic patterns, and in certain other cases. You can configure your browser to accept cookies, reject cookies or notify you when a cookie is being used. However, if you configure your browser to reject cookies, you may not be able to use Streemfire products or services that require you to sign in or take advantage of all the features of Streemfire. We may include tracking pixels, which are small graphic images, in our e-mail messages and newsletters to determine whether the messages were opened, and the links were actually viewed. If you do not want to receive tracking pixels, you will need to disable HTML images in your email client, but that may affect your ability to view images in other emails that you receive.

Website Visitors. Like most website operators, Streemfire collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Streemfire’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Streemfire’s visitors use its website. Certain visitors to Streemfire’s website choose to interact with Streemfire in ways that require Streemfire to gather personally identifying information. For instance, Streemfire may monitor the most popular public Content on the Streemfire Service or use usage statistics to measure how our user base grows. Streemfire may display this aggregated, non-personalized information publicly or provide it to third parties. However, Streemfire does not disclose personally identifying information other than as described herein.

Google Analytics. The Streemfire Service uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. Your Streemfire content is not shared with Google Analytics. Your Streemfire stream is played out to YouTube Live and follows their Terms of Service located at https://developers.google.com/youtube/terms.

Information Security

Streemfire has implemented technology and security features, as well as strict internal guidelines, to safeguard the privacy of your personal information from unauthorised access or improper use. We employ SSL encryption to secure your personal data and payment information. We will continue to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available. While we make every effort to ensure that your information is secure on our system, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

If you register for any of the Services you will be asked to provide basic personal information.
